You play as one of two Cannonheads- Player 1 is red, Player 2 is green. Your goal is simple- hit the other player with one of your bombs to knock them into the water! The terrain can be destroyed by your bombs, too. Keep that in mind!

CONTROLS

  • Left/Right- move
  • O/X- Hold to charge, release to shoot. The longer the charge, the farther your bomb will go.

This game is a simplified port of my 2600 homebrew game Cannonhead Clash, which you can find here.

Nice to see this as a follow on to the 2600 version!

When you say it is a simplified port, was that by choice? Or did you have less room to groove with Pico-8 vs a bank switched 2600 game?

To be honest this game was just done as a quick practice. I still have plenty of room left and could add more if I wanted to.
